As a trusted source for education and data related to seed science, we are passionate about uncovering the latest findings in genetic conservation, detoxification, and regeneration of bodies and environments. Board of Directors
Christina Cook, M.S., Ph.D., E.D., has more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Having masters and doctorate degrees in areas of the sciences, her education has focused on various types of scientific, clinical and medical innovation, as well as, assisting with social, environmental and healthcare reform initiatives. Her post Doctorate Education has included research efforts with multiple universities, including the Graduate Medical Bioscience Engineering Department of Nanobiotechnology at Harvard University where she focused on developing various types of molecular innovations), medical products, and devices which help improve healthcare, energy, and the environment. Having been awarded numerous patents leading to key leadership roles in product development, she continues to focus on the scientific development and evolution of formulas which improve the environment, energy deliverables, animal care and human health care.
Due to Dr. Cooks familial heritage which includes Native American Cherokee and Choctaw tribes, she has also dedicated her time to business endeavors which serve minority and underserved populations. In 2009, she evolved from medical, clinical, and research science to become the founder of healthcare companies aimed at improving a few specialty areas of healthcare. Being a female CEO created challenges, including both gender and minority discrimination. This personal experience fueled Christina’s passion to dedicate additional energy and time developing and supporting companies and people in the minority populations to help achieve their dreams and aspirations despite possible bias and discrimination.
Dr. Cook serves as a member of the Board of Directors for numerous companies, including, but not limited to, Ferah Wellness, a minority wellness platform; and Predicted Healthcare Ventures, a female and children focused platform. She founded and resided as CEO of DC2 Healthcare Holdings; National Neurosurgical and Orthopedic Optimum Care Continuum (NOC2); Clinical Care Continuum (C3); Medtechspecialist (MTS); My Life Patient Project (MLPP); Medpath, and National Research Independent Operations Management (NRIOM), and Blueprint Pathways. She also founded and served as Chief Executive Officer of the Board of Director’s for DOC Holdings, a National Evidence Based Optimum Care Monitoring Company dedicated to improving patients’ and surgeons’ lives. One of the M&A transactions occurred when Precedent Health Acquired DOC and its 7 companies in November of 2011. During the transition, Dr. Cook was the President of Precedent Spine, serving six years on the Board of Directors of the Holding Company and as a consultant to Precedent Healthcare. Her history also includes serving on numerous foundations including three non-profit organizations which focused on education, research and improving patient’s healthcare and social improvements: NOC2 Foundation, C3 Foundation, and the Rahm Foundation.
Dr. Cook has spent the majority of her career trying to find solutions for patients and providers in targeted areas of healthcare. Having failed many times, she often says she has learned through failing and never giving up. Due to these experiences, she has successfully developed over 41 companies and/or products and numerous patents in the area of skincare, hair, nails, makeup, detox, neurotransmission of the brain, brain health, hormone health, anti-aging, energy improvements, health and energy drinks, vitamins, artificial skin, clothing, women’s health, men’s health, children’s health, revitalization, air detox, water clean up, filtration systems, and DNA testing. Dr. Cook believes it is not her knowledge, education, or talent which has been important in her life; rather, her attitude of staying positive and being dedicated to helping others. Christina has conducted business in 39 countries, but finds the most happiness being home with her four children, Duquesne, Preston, Crider and Merritt Ella, as well as, spending time with the rest of her family and friends. She remains dedicated to providing free services to her past companies and new companies in the area of Quality and Cost improvement which improve our healthcare, environment, and social systems.
With a creative advertising career spanning two decades, Susan Corbo has worked with everyone from Abraham Lincoln impersonators to teenage skate pros to sumo wrestlers, Kermit the Frog and basketball legend LeBron James. As a Creative Director and Writer, she’s had an amazing time creating award winning campaigns for brands around the globe. Susan helped generate the creative ideas that launched the New Beetle Convertible for Volkswagen, authored an edgy book for Blue Q, generated one of Targets most viewed Pinterest campaigns, and re-launched Husky tools socially, digitally, and with a nation wide tour. She helped a variety of brands including Axe, Sprite North America, LG, Virgin Mobile, Swiss Army, The World Gold Council, LL Bean, Baileys, sittercity.com and JW Marriott Luxury Hotels create break though campaigns in new and emerging markets on an international playing field.
After graduating from the University of South Alabama with a B.S. in Marketing, Susan went on to pursue her advertising dreams by attending the Portfolio Center and graduating from The Creative Circus in Atlanta, Georgia. Working at top creative shops in Boston and New York City such as Mullen, Arnold Worldwide, BBH New York and Mother New York, Susan has spent her career working with talented people she loves and admires. She’s happily served on the Advisory Board for The Creative Circus and judged numerous national and international advertising award shows.
Susan has been honored by the One Show, Canne International Film Festival, The Art Directors Club, NY’s Andy Awards, The Obies, Archive, Communication Arts, and the Hatch Awards Show, as well as being listed as “Top 30 under 30” by Creativity.
In her spare time, Susan is an avid sticker collector, enjoys cooking, loves smashing a forehand on the tennis court and often daydreams she is a puppeteer. She lives in New York with her husband Bruno, their daughter Francesca and their 25 year old turtle Bubba.
Jennifer C. Cather, MD began her extensive education at the University of Texas where she received her BA in Chemistry. She continued her education and went on to obtain her Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas. After completing an Internship in Internal Medicine at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, she competed a Clinical Research Fellowship at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center along with a residency in Dermatology at the University of Texas —Houston Medical School.
She currently is the Medical Director at Modern Dermatology and Modern Research Associates in Dallas, TX, an is licensed to practice medicine in both Texas and California. In addition to her management roll, she has also been an investigator in more than 175 clinical research trials in the areas of psoriasis and cutaneous T-cell Lymphoma. She has also authored and co-authored numbers, abstracts and manuscripts. Her writing has appeared in such publications as the Journal of American Academy of Dermatology, The British Journal of Dermatology, The Journal of Drugs in Dermatology, Cutis, Dermatologic Therapy and Dermatologic Clinics.
Dr. Cather continually lectures and educates on investigational therapies in psoriasis, cutaneous T-cell lymphoma and melanoma, and frequently serves as a consultant within these disciplines. She dedicates her time to helping patients with chronic inflammatory disorders. She believes in a multidisciplinary approach involving both tradition and complementary medicine as well as needed lifestyle modifications for optimal disease control.
She continually volunteers in the cutaneous lymphoma and graft versus host clinic at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
Though her professional career is very important to her, she is also a family woman. She has two daughters named Wonder and Magic and has been married to her husband who works as an addiction psychiatrist.
Dr. Diaz graduated from the Central University of Mexico with a Bachelor of Science degree, and from the National University of Mexico with his M.D. degree. While undertaking his medical studies he completed an externship at Worcester Memorial Hospital, Massachusetts. Following graduation from medical school, Dr. Diaz completed his internship at Regina General Hospital in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. Dr. Diaz contributed one year as a family practitioner in a social service clinic in Naranjos, Veracruz, Mexico. He then began residency training, completing anesthesia requirements in Regina, Saskatchewan and two years of general surgery requirements at the University of Kansas in succession. During his general surgery rotation, he also graduated from the University of Kansas with a Master’s of Anatomy. Dr. Diaz then moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota where he trained as a neurosurgery resident and graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy degree in neurophysiology from the University of Minnesota. He then became Board Certified in Neurological Surgery.
After completing his residency and PhD, Dr. Diaz joined the Department of Neurosurgery at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, where he continued to pursue his academic career, and his interests in cerebrovascular neurosurgery. During nine years spent at Henry Ford Hospital, Dr. Diaz actively researched cerebral revascularization, producing definitive models for therapeutic treatment of stroke and cerebral ischemia. Dr. Diaz was then recruited to become the Chairman of the Neuroscience Institute of SantaFe in Gainesville, Florida. This neurosurgical institute was developed as a satellite of Henry Ford Hospital, allowing Dr. Diaz to continue his microvascular research. During this time, Dr. Diaz also furthered his interests in leadership and administration by completing a Master’s of Business Administration degree from Central Michigan University.
In 1990, Dr. Diaz enlisted in the US Air Force Reserves and returned to Michigan as the Professor and Chairman of Neurological Surgery at Wayne State University. Dr. Diaz furthered his interest in medical malpractice by completing a law degree at Wayne State University. In 2006, Dr. Diaz retired from the US Air Force with honorable discharge.
During his training and continuing presently, Dr. Diaz has undertaken numerous research studies and trials dedicated to neurovascular microsurgery. He has authored more than 287 papers in the peer-reviewed medical literature and more than 129 chapters to medical textbooks, contributing his expertise to spine doctors everywhere.
Dr. Diaz is active in numerous professional societies including: the American Association of Neurological Surgeons; the Congress of Neurological Surgeons; the Neurosurgical Society of America; the Federation of Latin American Neurosurgical Societies; the American Society of Law, Medicine and Ethics; and the World Federation of Neurosurgical Societies. Dr. Diaz was listed among the best surgeons in the United States and was recognized by his peers as one of Metro Detroit’s most respected neurological surgeons in Hour Detroit magazine’s annual “Top Docs” rankings.
He is a frequent speaker to audiences around the world on advanced neurosurgical procedures and treatments. His specialties include: microsurgery, cervical spine reconstruction and artificial disc replacement.
Aleshia Felts has been working alongside Dr. Christina Cook since June of 2017 overseeing many of the administrative and clerical functions in the office, as well as helping to gather and organize valuable scientific research. She joined ISNS in 2018 as part of a team that will guide customer care, communications and membership.
Prior to ISNS, Aleshia spent over 15 years working in the administrative field in the Nashville area, gaining the necessary experience to handle situations with great care and understanding.
Using her administrative, sales and customer care skills, Aleshia worked at Genesco, as well as serving 3 year stints at both IMG Inc. and Donovan Marine Inc. Before coming on board with Dr. Cook, she spent 7 years working as a Contracting Specialist at Covenant Reliance Producers, LLC, an independent insurance and retirement planning company.
Jessica Portnoy was born and raised in Southern California, where she lived for a majority of her life. She currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee, where she accepted an opportunity to expand and complete her education in health and wellness.
Having several family members and close friends struggle with addictions, Jessica is a firm advocate for the importance of both mental and physical health. She maintains the understanding that the way we care for our mind and body can help us overcome adversity.
Alongside her passion for healthy living, Jessica loves the ocean, practicing yoga, and traveling the world. Yearning to experience and learn the different aspects of other cultures, she has traveled to and explored several different countries, some instances by herself and spanning months in length.
Her wanderlust brought her to places such as Siem Riep, Cambodia, and the island of Leyte in the Philippines. It is the last-mentioned where she volunteered at various impoverished schools, dedicating her time to teaching English to local adolescents. Through experiences like these, she began to learn the value and necessity of health and wellness, and appreciation for simplicity in life.
Medical Advisory Board
Dr. Norbert Ketskés M.D. is one the most acknowledged gastroenterologist in Hungary, specializing in natural and organic nutritional solutions, leading the well-known Primus Labor, a private clinic offering personalized nutritional advices to its patients.
Dr. Ketskés has been focusing his medical work to examine the human body on the level of the single cell, searching for the connections between the quality of nutrition and the various gastroenterological diseases.
He is been devoting his time to examine the totally organic seed-based nutritional solutions and their effects on several gastroenterological problems, from extreme diets to obesity, or from cancer to stroke, just to name a few.
He has been a partner of the Hungarian Olympic Committee, as a specialist in athletic and sport nutrition, also a member of the medical board of the Hungarian Karate Association. He is a well-known specialist in complementary cancer-focused nutritional therapy, and his publications are highly acknowledged nationwide.
He has been an independent medical expert of Rain International in Europe in the past five years, and has been invited to share his medical experiences in presentations, all over the Continent.
His unique cellular mapping of the human body is a special examination enabling the doctor to receive a comprehensive image of the human body’s cellular state, just like a snapshot image. Similar to a blood sugar test, one drop of blood gained from the fingertip checked expansively under a special, dark-field microscope can be highly informative to detect several abnormal proceedings, such as eating disorders, the presence of bad cholesterol, for instance, or the high deficit of fundamental elements vital to a healthy state. The presence and the level of oxidative stress, the acid – base balance of the body, the status of various organs, the cardiovascular system, the gastrointestinal tract, the liver and other major organs’ current status can be examined closely by this test too.
He has been archiving and saving his medical test results, having more than 5000 (five thousand) medical documentations available on his seed-based experimental studies, uniguely. For the last 25 years Leah Kelley has passionately served in the medical field helping patients and their families throughout the American heartland. Leah graduated with honors from Southeast Missouri State University with a MSN, FNP and received her certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She holds a license from the Missouri State Board of Nursing/FNP, and a Missouri RN License.
Beginning her career as a Charge Nurse in the Medical Surgical floor of Missouri Delta Medical Center, she quickly rose the ranks to became Director of ICU, Physical Rehabilitation and TCC at Doctors Regional Medical Center. After serving as Director of Nursing for Mark Twain Caring Center/Health Systems, Inc, Leah spent the next several years a a RN Case Manager for Dexter Home Health. In 2007, she made the move to Director of Nursing at Crowley Ride Care Center/Health Systems, Inc.
Leah has served as both Administrator for Preferred Hospice-Dexter and Farmington/System Services and as a Mobile Wound Solutions Family Nurse Practitioner. In 2012 she took on a new role as Southeast Missouri Regional Corporate Consultant for Medicare Services/System Services.
At present, Leah is serving as a Family Nurse Practitioner in the complexities of Internal Medicine in ICU acute care, outpatient, and long-term care settings as well as participating as a member in vital hospital QA committees and community outreach programs.
Leah is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Missouri Heartland Advance Practice Nurses Network and Sigma Theta Tau National Nurses Honor Society. She has her certification in Physical Rehabilitation, CNA & CMT Instruction/Examination as well as Medicare Assessment Coordination. Leah is also a proud recipient of the RehabCare Nursing Leadership Award and is a Nationally Certified Medical Examiner for DOT CMV.
